Banding Buckles (YS-02)

Material: Stainless steel
Single stainless steel pressing design which allows for construction without joins or seams.
Buckles are available in matching 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inches widths and with the exception of the 3/8 inches buckles.
Accommodates the double-wrap application to solve heavier duty clamping requirements

Procedure:
Measure and cut (using the built-in cutter of the clamping tool) a length of stainless steel strap to suit the clamping requirement;
As a guide, a single-wrapped clamp usually measures 3-1/2 times and a double-wrapped application 7 times the diameter of the combined objects to be clamped
Add an additional 5 to 7 inches (depending on the application) to allow for locking and clamping tool operation;
Insert one end of the stainless steel band through the stainless buckle-bridge until approximately 2 inches of the band extends from the buckle-ears
Fold the 2 inches extension underneath the buckle as shown;
To prevent any pull-out during tensioning, ensure that the fold is sharp and that the folded end follows the same direction as the remainder of the stainless steel band;
Wrap the remaining stainless steel strapping around the object(s) to be clamped and thread the end through the buckle-bridge as shown;
For double-wrapped applications, repeat a second wrap and thread the end through the buckle-bridge;
The clamp is now ready to be tensioned and locked.
